History

Girl Uplift was founded in 2018 by Faith Kasor after traveling to West Africa, Liberia, and recognizing the need for a local organization to help underprivileged and marginalized girls and young women struggling with injustice and poverty.

Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving over a hundred and fifty children and women each year. We have provided thousands of school supplies, health care kits, and awarded ten scholarships to elementary school girls to continue their education in Liberia for the past three years. Girl Uplift also mentors and teaches girls basic skills, awareness workshops to build self-esteem, and confidence in Liberia and the USA.
